What it means to be centered

When we are truly in our centre everything we do is intentional. The way we eat, feel, taste, act is all from a place of awareness.

“WHEN YOU EAT, REALLY EAT, REALLY CHEW, REALLY TASTE, REALLY SMELL, REALLY FEEL THE FOOD DISSOLVE, ASSIMILATE & NOURISH YOUR BODY, YOUR WHOLE BEING…WHEN YOU ACT, ACT CONSCIOUSLY WITH DIRECTED INTENTION. MAKE EVERYTHING YOU DO A PRACTICE OF AWARENESS”

HOW TO STAY CENTRED

Be your self, be aware if you are reacting or truly seeing things for what they are.

Think before you act

Take a moment before you press ‘send’ on that email even better “save as draft”

Breathe

Breathe deeply into every cell of your amazing self, focus on the quality of your breathing…deep, shallow, long, short, staggered, rigid etc.

Plan

Create a small ‘to-do list’ of the things you would like to achieve that day. 'Failing to plan and all that jazz, is like, planning to fail'.

Be Kind

Being kind and compassionate to yourself if you don’t get everything done. Being grateful for the 'stuff' you do get done.

Engage in your senses

Really listen and feel your gut and bodily senses as this is the inner wisdom that will guide you.  Sit, breathe and be still and practice the art of feeling, finding and tuning into your centre.
